She is the sister to the one in the avatar, from a later litter. The mother to this litter has saved my son-in-law and my daughter from a dog attach and my son-in-law from a snake attach. She is a 110 lbs lap dog.
Re: Meet my new Puppy
You can tell she is going to be smart. You can see it in her eyes even at such a young age.
She almost looks like she is thinking "here they go with the camera again, more pictures".
I thought all 100lb dogs were lap dogs. After about 2 minutes my legs have no feeling in them!

Re: Meet my new Puppy
She is a handfull, the two House Lhasa Apso we have are always trying to show her they are the boss, little do they know how big she will be later on in life. She is a quick learner at her age, she seems to be more adaptable to tracking, she always has her nose to the ground. Some rotties, make excellent scent and drug dogs.
My little rottie at 4 months
Najda at 4 months old, still my pretty baby girl

Nadja is just adorable! I love large breed puppies like Rotties...They grow from large, goofy puppys to such large, elegant dogs...and it always amazes me how FAST they grow...You can almost see them growing by the day! I am wondering about the name...Is it German? (because I'm guessing Rottties are a German breed)

Re: Meet my new Puppy
Yes her full name is Nadja Vom Herzen (Vom Herzen means from the heart), my wife did a lot of research before we selected the name for her. Right now she is at the long leg stage and as graceful as a rock. She is a very loving and good with all my grandkids.
Re: Meet my new Puppy
Wow! She grew up! Still cute though!
What happened to the 10 week old photo? I scrolled up to compair the two photos and it's gone!
By the way, I think all Rotties look mean at first glance.
I think it's because of the way their mouth curves down. Kinda like Scrooge.
After you get to know them you can tell if they are really mean by watching the eyes. I think all breeds of dogs show their emotions such as love, meaness, fear, sadness, guilt in their eyes.

Yes her mouth is always turned down like she is frowning, but that little nub of a tail, moves so hard her whole back end moves back and forth. I don't what happened to the first photo I posted, let me check with the photo server and see if it is still there. Here is the ones of her when see was little.
