Now is the time to tank up cars, trucks before the system enters the Gulf Of Mexico and they shut in all the offshore platforms (gas will go up due to shut-down).

I know JAH has to get all the pets ready to move out. Jay
My sister's four dogs are there too right now!

During Rita JAH had just operated on a puppy that was hit by a car. The poor little thing wasn't expected to survive. The puppy was too sick to evacuate with the owners and the owner just assumed the puppy would be dead when they returned. The situation was really grim. JAH evacuated with the puppy and nursed him back to health. After they returned home the puppy's owner was shocked when they got a phone call to pick up their bouncing little puppy! Laugh

My husband works for Noble Drilling in the Gulf of Mexico and so far he's still going to work tomorrow morning.. I keep waiting for a phone call but nothing yet. His rig is around the Texas/Mexico border so I'm not sure if they'll pull them off or not.

Silva will he try to make it home if they shut down the rig? I'd be scared to death.
What about Blaze? Fear

Kyle just called his rig, They are abandoning it and will direct him to a hotel tomorrow morning when he reaches the helicopter company. Most likely it'll be in Texas. I will be staying home unless it looks like it's going to head this way then I'll pack up and go meet him more than likely.

Blaze will be fine.. If something should happen, We'd probably just make sure he had free access to water, hay, barn, and the pasture to go and come as he pleased.

Wonder if you can get a horse microchipped? Question
I used to have a little round tag with a picture of a horse on the front and name and phone number on the back. It came in handy when a tree would fall on the fence and the horses would get out. The tag slide onto the side of his harness. Sort of something like this but mine was pretty! Very Happy
