Retractable Leash Recall
I just got this information from AKC email sent to me today.
About 200,000 SlyDog retractable leashes with metal clasps are being recalled by Worldwise Inc. of San Rafael, California.
The metal clasp connecting the leash to a dog's collar can bend or break causing the leash to recoil, possibly causing injury.
The leashes were sold nationwide by Dollar General Stores from September 2007 through August 2008.
For more information you can call Worldwise Inc. at (888) 296-3907 or visit their website.

Re: Retractable Leash Recall
Not to mention the dog getting loose and running away or getting hit by a car!
