Poor Blaze
We went to feed him last night and he was limping bad on his hoof that has been bothering him since we got him. He was almost perfect Tuesday when I went to feed him.. I didn't go Wed. due to being sick and running late with a picture appointment for my daughter. But my husband's grandfather who took care of him that night didn't mention anything so I figure it must have happened Thursday sometime.
He's limping worse than when we got him.. We're not sure if he just stepped on something wrong or what. Our vet says they can't see him until Tuesday so we're about to go buy feed and check on him again.. If it's still bad I guess we'll start calling around so maybe you guys might see Blaze in real life.. LOL

Re: Poor Blaze
Here's an update.. We checked on him this morning and he was walking MUCH better on it. We called the vet's cell phone instead of the regular office so we could talk to him. He said it sounds like an abcess and to soak it in epsom salt and water for about 15 or so mins every day for a few days then report back to him and keep him updated. So we'll try that and hope the abcess does its thing and gets it over with.. Wish us luck!

Poor Blaze! I hope the soaking helps. I can't imagine the pain Blaze would have endured had you not adopted him when you did!! Keep us updated!
