See what Mass. Tried to pass
See what Massachusetts tried to pass , we need to watch that this doesnt happen anywhere. With the price of food and medical for our pets going up, we don't need to pay our cities and States for the priviledge to own our animals. They need to get off there A** and enforce laws that the people support and voted for.

Imposing mandatory spay/neuter of all dogs over 12 months of age; or in the alternative, owners will have to qualify for and annually purchase an intact animal permit at a cost of up to $500 per dog.

Limiting the number of reproductive events per female dog to one litter per year, with few exceptions.

Requiring the reporting of all sales of puppies to local jurisdictions.

Eliminating the practice of humane tethering, without allowances for hunting or sled dogs.

Allowing towns and cities to impose breed-specific ordinances.

Instituting state-mandated vaccination schedules, instead of allowing vaccination schedules to be provided by, and in consultation with, a veterinarian.
Establishing unreasonable nuisance laws that can result in the forced sterilization, banishment, or euthanization of dogs

Re: See what Mass. Tried to pass
What a bunch of mudflap. No wonder AKC is upset since they supported the original bill. A great example of a good bill gone terribly wrong.
WV already has a dog tax and we are suppose to report all sales of puppies. That's not too bad though. Still, I think our dog tax should go to the local shelters and it doesn't.
Edit: It looks like our word sensors are working.

Well according to the Jenning daily yesterday, the city is thinking of passing dog bans. It has really gotten bad around Jennings with the people breeding dogs just to fight, The bad is it's not the dogs but the owners, and all the rest of us will end up suffering for the dumb.
