Hi. I first found out about this site when I took my dog into Jennings Animal Hospital and mentioned that I was fostering 4 kittens who had been thrown into the trash at Walmart. They were about 2 weeks old at the time and I bottle fed them and got them onto solid food. They are now about 6 weeks old, healthy, and adorable. I've already adopted out two and will probably keep the other two because I've gotten so attached. I actually cried when I placed the other two, but I know their new families and know they are in great homes. When I mentioned at JAH that I was fostering these kittens, I was given much respect, as well as oppertunities at a lot of freebies, one being kitten food. My kittens love it, and I feel good about their "second" chance at a healthy kittenhood. I want to offer my thanks to the caring people at JAH for thier support. It's great to know someone cares!
I'm also glad to be at this site, to meet other animal lovers, and to learn and share with everyone. Nice to meet you all!

Hi Roxy. Welcome to the forum!!! I can't believe someone threw kittens in the trash can. What did they think would happen to them? Good for you for rescuing them.

I think you'll enjoy this group of people. I certanly have.
